herb miasta - wrong?

Hello,
i would like to hear your opinion.
I believe that the herb miasta Szczecinek is wrong.
Today it shows a Gryf jumping over a jesiotr. This was not changed after 1945 or even later, i think it changed after 1910 when Emil Wille wrote his book to the anniversary of Neustettin. He said that the herb miasta shows a Gryf above a jesiotr which is symbol of the "Swenzonen"(sorry german). Last year i visited the muzeum and looked into the book of Karl Tümpel and to a seal of the town. The seal wasn´t a seal it was a stamp and is dated 19th or 20th century. The stamp shows the gryf and the fish like "a Gryf jumping over an jesiotr". In the book of Tümpel are shown some seals and only one is like this. The other seals show a Gryf catching a fish.
So i think after the book of Wille the herb changed to the herb today.
In my Opion the right herb is "a Gryf catching a fish" like shown on the tower of the townhall, where i see "a gryf catching a wild carp".
